MATERIALS

Polyurethane is an insulator with an excellent performance which insulation coefficient is 35% higher than the one of expanded polystyrene (EPS - POREXPAN). With a similar density (Kgs/Mts3) Polyurethane shows an insulating power higher than EPS, XPS, etc. Our material uses less volume to maintain the same insulation requirements.

The panels of injected Polyurethane used for isothermal packaging have the following characteristics:
  • Mass / density of the panels: 33 kg.m3 (+/- 5%)

  • Thermal conductivity: λ = 0,023 W .m-1.°C-1

  • Coating of the panel with a multilayer complex. One of these layers (layers) is an aluminized film which guarantees sealing and protection in front of a radiation attack / outdoor temperature.
  • NO internal coating required.

  • High capacity to optimize the packaging materials. The panels are cut to the exact size necessary for the insulated box minimizing the environmental impact.

  • High capacity to resist shock, humidity, etc.

  • Low weight.

  • Compliance of the Montreal Protocol. CFC and HCFC free.
Recycling / Reuse, Optimization of  POLYURETHANE
Like other insulation materials Polyurethane is reused in other applications as raw material or to generate energy.
Our packages are designed to use the least possible amount of packaging materials, polyurethane, cardboard, water based adhesives, etc.  Therefore we use a cutting software that optimizes the use of panels.
The rigid polyurethane foam is a rot-proof substance, stable against mold and detritus, and an odorless and chemically neutral product. It is also stable against exhaust and aggressive industrial atmospheres.

POLIURETANO

Poliurethane
It is the more efficient and durable thermal insulation material. Its low thermal conductivity confered by the closed cell structure and innovative manufacturing technology, have placed it at the head of products which contributes to save energy through insulation.

Poliurethane system
Set of two liquid components, polyol and isocyanate, which by chemical reaction between them gives rise to the polyurethane foam.

Polyol Component
Mixed polyol with reactive-OH groups containing catalysts, flame retardants, expandensibles and foam stabilizers.

Component Isocyanate
Isocyanate with reactive-NCO groups.
